An amazing establishment has opened in the southern part of Amsterdam – a specialized hotel for gamers called the Arcada Hotel. The hotel's motto is that the client should feel not like a guest of the hotel, but like a person who came to visit his friends. The lobby of the Arcada Hotel features more modern gaming devices and a public library of comics, and in the bar, computer game lovers can, if desired, join in multiplayer game battles.
According to the idea of the founders of the hotel, daily cyber contests among the guests should become a good tradition, allowing the guests to feel like they are in a circle of friends and like-minded people. A special DJ is in charge of selecting the music that accompanies the residents at dinner. The hotel staff will also take care of fast food for the guests so that the latter do not have to be distracted from the games for meals. Those hotel guests who can break away from adventures in virtual gaming reality will be offered bicycles for sightseeing in Amsterdam, unlimited tea and coffee and one welcome alcoholic drink.
The owners of the hotel plan to increase the number of rooms to forty-five in the near future, as well as equip a special common playroom.
